Class of 2022

J2 was born May 5th in Jerome Idaho to parents Jim and Alberta Brown. J2 was raised in Richfield and moved to Montana later to work on the Sun Light Ranch.
J2’s dad was a well-known mechanic and after J2 helped his dad in the shop one time his father decided for the both of them that being a mechanic was not the job for his son.
J2 wated to be a cowboy. At the age of 8 J2 competed in steer riding, little bucking poinies, calf roping and team roping at the Little britches’ rodeos.
For a summer job at the age of 10 J2 headed to cow camp with Ronnie Holland and Cotton Riley and found his dream job.
J2 moved on to junior rodeos, his world was getting better, and things were getting serious now.
J2 moved on to HSRA where he rode bronc’s, team roped, calf roped and even rode bulls. J2 qualified for State High School Rodeo finals four years and Nationals one year in the Saddle Bronc riding.
J2 entered the Wild cow milking buckle at the St. Paul Or rodeo, mostly to beat Matt Twitchell and won the buckle.
After his riding days finished J2 excelled as a pickup man. Serving 8 years at the Idaho High School Rodeo. He has been a pickup man for the Montana Circuit Finals, the Wilderness Circuit Finals and 17 years at the Pendleton Round up.
