Cross Triangle Rodeo

Class of 2025

🐂 Honoring Dell & Amaryllis Haslam and the Cross-Triangle Rodeo Company – 2025 Idaho Rodeo Hall of Fame Inductees 🎉

From Ovid, Idaho, the Cross-Triangle Rodeo Company — founded and run by Dell and Amaryllis Haslam — brought world-class rodeo action to towns all across southern and eastern Idaho for decades.
Dell, known as “Blizzard” for always charging into the storm to get the job done, started as a rough stock cowboy and pickup man before producing top-tier RCA, PRCA, RMRA, and EIRA rodeos. Amaryllis was the quiet force behind it all — secretary, timer, flag bearer, driver, and organizer, doing it all before the days of central entry. Their rodeos were known for elite bucking stock, top talent, and unforgettable performances.

From 1965 to 1989, the Cross-Triangle Rodeo Company produced rodeos in nearly every corner of Idaho — Rupert, Burley, Jerome, Gooding, Blackfoot, Rigby, Pocatello, and beyond — often running two rodeos in different towns on the same weekend. This was a true family operation, with Dell, Amaryllis, and their children, Lori and Randy, hauling stock, running chutes, and carrying on the western way.
The Haslam’s helped shape the Idaho rodeo scene for generations.
