Class of 2022

Yo Curtis began her rodeo career in high school, competing in barrel racing and as a queen contestant. She held District and State Rodeo Queen titles in high school, as well as serving as Queen of the ION Appaloosa Association, Magic Valley Horse Show, Idaho Girls Rodeo Association, Snake River Stampede and was Miss Rodeo Idaho in 1968.
After college, she married Dave Marts and at that time, was running at WPRA races throughout the Northwest.
Yo was the founding coach for the Snake River Stamped, Black Out Drill Team. During her eight years as coach, they performed in Mesquite, Texas, the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, and the Winter Olympics in Utah.
She served on the board of directors for the District 2 High School Rodeo Association and was their secretary and treasurer, President of the Idaho Girls Rodeo Association, is a currently a director (16 years) and instructor (18 years) for the Rodeo Bible Camps of Idaho. She feels very blessed to serve in this capacity with her husband, Rich Curtis.
