Jeff Crockett

Class of 2020

Jeff was a standout bull rider from Idaho who worked his way up the ranks. Starting with Little Britches Rodeo all the way to the top 15 in the world standing of the PRCA.
Jeff attended the College of Southern Idaho and qualified for the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Finals in 1983 and 1984. He was the Rocky Mountain Regional Champion in 1984. In 1986, Jeff finished runner up int the PRCA bull riding rookie of the year. In 1987, he qualified for the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo, as one of two bull riders from the Wilderness Circuit.
Outside the arena Jeff was a rodeo bible camp instructor and an assistant youth leader at Calvary Chapel.
On August 28, 1988, Jeff was stepped on during competition and later died from his injuries. As remembered by his Friend Cody Custer, Jeff’s death affected the whole sport of Pro Rodeo.
