Owyhee Rodeo

Class of 2025

Since 1946, the Owyhee County Rodeo has been a pillar of Idaho’s western heritage — growing from a local cowboy contest into one of the most respected rodeos in the state. From the 1980s through 2020, it held the title of largest payout in the Idaho Cowboys Association, earning its nickname: “The Biggest Little Show.”
Now a PRCA-sanctioned rodeo (as of 2023), Owyhee County continues to honor tradition while evolving for the future. From junior bulls and mutton busting to local team roping, this rodeo supports cowboys and cowgirls of all ages — and gives back through scholarships, cancer fundraisers, and aid to local families in need.

Run by a dedicated volunteer board, the arena has seen major upgrades — from new bucking chutes to fresh roping pens — all to provide a first-class rodeo experience for fans and competitors alike.
We’re proud to honor the Owyhee County Rodeo — where Idaho rodeo tradition rides strong and the western way of life is alive and well.
