Stevenson, Tony

Class of 2025

From little britches to the bright lights, Tony Stevenson’s rodeo trail is lined with grit, gold buckles, and world-class rides. As a college hand, he shined in the NIRA—winning the Shrine All-Star and National College Finals Rodeo championships—then crossed the border to rope in the Canadian Team Rodeo title in Calgary.

In the PRCA, Tony claimed back-to-back Columbia Pro Rodeo championships (’86 & ’87), earned the Dodge National Circuit Finals and Joe Kelsey Memorial buckle, and rode his way to 7th in the world in the PRCA bareback riding before a career-ending injury in 1988.

Even after the arena lights dimmed, Tony kept ridin’ for the brand—supporting youth rodeo schools, FFA and ag programs, and helping young cowboys and cowgirls earn scholarships. Whether in the chutes or the community, Tony’s legacy is pure cowboy heart. 🌟🐂
