That Famous Preston Night Rodeo

Class of 2023

That Famous Preston Night Rodeo, originally called the Preston Round Up began in 1921. The rodeo was put on at night, under the lights, being the first rodeo this side of the Mississippi with that claim, they coined the name That Famous Preston Night Rodeo. This rodeo has grown to be a three-day event, with sold out crowds, PRCA membership since 1937, top ranked cowboys, National Finals stock and winner of rodeo of the year in the Wilderness Circuit for 7 straight years. Not only has this rodeo won Rodeo of the Year but has won 5 WPRA best footing awards.
That Famous Preston Night Rodeo complex now has a capacity of 6400 seats. They have added new chutes and back pens, new calf pens, sorting alleys and new timed event chutes. A big screen and updated fiber optics have been added to allow the show to be broadcast live on the Cowboy Channel.
That Famous Preston Night Rodeo brings in National Finals cowboys, award winning barrel men, the top PRCA acts, and announcers who have won awards and announced the Nation Finals rodeo.
For rodeo week, the last weekend in July, the town comes alive!
