Class of 2021

Deb’s great pony Poncho, was a kind soul and loved to win and that’s where Deb’s love of competition started.

Deb competed in Junior rodeos, high school rodeos, IGRA rodeos and ICA rodeos. Deb would compete in barrel racing, pole bending, team roping, goat tying, breakaway and steer undecorating. In 1977 Deb was the Idaho High School Rodeo Reserve All Around Cowgirl. That same year she was the Idaho Girls Rodeo Cow Riding Finals and Year end champion. In 1987 she was the NOBRA Barrel racing Champion. Deb was the 1979 Idaho Girls Rodeo All Around champion and was the Reserve All Around Champion in 1987. Deb won the year end in Breakaway, Heading and Barrel Racing in 1987. These are just a few of the titles that Deb won throughout the years. She has been very active as a director in both the ICA and the IGRA associations throughout the years.

Debs last foray into competition was in 2018, she now is very active as a timer at summer rodeos. She has been a timer for the ICA Finals from 2014-2018.
