Wilson, Brad

Class of 2025

Born and raised on a working ranch in Downey, Idaho, Brad Wilson has lived and breathed the cowboy way of life from the ground up. After graduating high school in 1978, Brad hit the rodeo trail with grit and guts, riding bulls across association and open rodeos for a solid decade. He joined the Eastern Idaho Rodeo Association in 1982 kicking off a lifelong journey in the sport, both in the arena and behind the scenes.
Brad and his wife Brenda poured their hearts into youth rodeo. Under their guidance as President and Secretary, they brought the IJRA back from the brink, turning it into a thriving organization that filled the stands of six rodeos each season and a groundbreaking junior high final.

From stock contracting to running a rough stock practice pen, Brad mentored dozens of young riders, many of whom rode on to PRCA and PBR glory. For many, Brad and Brenda weren’t just rodeo mentors—they were family.

These days, Brad’s traded riding bulls for pushing calves and cheering on his grandkids. A true cowboy at heart, Brad Wilson’s legacy rides strong through every young competitor he’s inspired.
